Noncommercial Bill of Sale for Used Goods
A bill of sale for used goods is often needed for a sale of personal property of significant value. Because the transaction is significant, disputes often arise between the parties regarding fitness and use of the product. Often the buyer or seller desires to include language which addresses defects in workmanship, durability of the goods, description of the goods made by the seller, the product’s conformance to statements made in the owner’s manual and on labels, warranties against infringements on patent or trademarks, and length of warranties or guarantees. Addressing these issues as a part of the sale can eliminate many disputes by setting out in the bill of sale the agreement of the parties.
Request for Copy of Credit Bureau Report (through attorney)
On request, a credit bureau must provide to any person in its registry a copy of all information contained in its files concerning that person. Although the law states the copy must be provided within 45 days of the request, people often experience difficulty obtaining the report from the reporting bureaus. This document satisfies the requirements for requests set by statute, eliminating the opportunity for the credit bureau to deny access to the report.
Automobile Bailment (borrowing)
This document covers the issues which should be addressed when an automobile is borrowed for an extended period of time. Maintenance, repairs, insurance, limitation on permitted drivers and operation can be addressed to avoid dispute and protect the owner from loss and exposure to liability from the borrower’s actions. Such an agreement prevents the owner’s good intentions from becoming a nightmare.
Lawn and Garden Service Contract
This document provides for lawn maintenance and gardening services for a residence or building, public or private. The provisions take into account the growth and pest infestations encountered in Texas on a year round basis. Price and frequency can be modified for different seasons. Other variables include watering, types of plants, and fertilization. Contracting for a specific day of mowing, often desired by residential owners, is also possible.
Catering Agreement
A straight-forward contract between caterer and client which addresses the issues most likely to arise between them. The document covers items such as menu, clean up, access to premises, cancellations, special dietary needs of some attendees, provision of dishes and utensils, deposits and price.
Party Performer Agreement
Drafted as a simple agreement for a child’s birthday party or family occasion, this document covers the basics needed to take at least one worry out of the event. Special provisions for particular situations can easily be added.

The powers given to the attorney-in-fact may be very broad or very limited, as desired by the grantor. Substitute attorneys-in-fact may be appointed as well.
